Our stay at the hotel had some fantastic highlights, especially the beautiful mountain views and access to skiing right from the property. The accommodations were spacious, making us feel pampered during our time here. Although the location is perfect for skiers, I encountered some issues with service that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. It would be great if the staff could focus more on ensuring that special occasions feel truly celebrated, as I felt overlooked at times.
The hotel provided a memorable winter getaway, combining luxurious accommodations with impressive dining experiences. The spacious one-bedroom unit we stayed in was well-equipped and perfect for our group, but the layout of some other rooms seemed awkward. Service was consistently top-notch, enhancing our overall enjoyment, but I did notice some newer construction nearby that slightly detracted from the view.
My stay at Stein Eriksen was fantastic. The spacious suite we had offered stunning mountain views and a private hot tub, making the experience feel luxurious. I particularly loved the breakfast buffet, which had a variety of delicious options. On the downside, we encountered some issues with the dining hours not being communicated clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was an excellent stay with great amenities and service.
I had an unforgettable stay at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. The service was top-notch, with staff providing personalized attention that truly made us feel special. The accommodations were spacious and elegant, though getting to our room involved some outside walking, which wasn’t ideal in the cold. Dining options were superb, especially the Glitretind restaurant. Overall, it was a memorable experience but could use better access to some amenities.
My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic for skiing, being just steps away from the lifts. The amenities, such as heated pools and beautiful views, impressed me. However, I was disappointed by the inconsistent service and some issues with my room that detracted from my experience. Overall, while there were nice touches and a great setting, the execution didn't quite meet the high expectations set by the resort's reputation.
